Taryn Huizenga, MD

Dr. Taryn Huizenga is a board-certified dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology. Originally from Michigan, she graduated with honors from Michigan State University and earned her medical degree from Wayne State University. After finishing her internal medicine internship at Mount Sinai St Lukes-Roosevelt, she returned to Wayne State to complete her dermatology residency. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Huizenga practices medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology. She is an advocate for her patients and specializes in adult and pediatric skin conditions including acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and skin cancer detection and prevention. With an eye for natural aesthetics, she enjoys working alongside her patients in order to help them feel like the best version of themselves and achieve their cosmetic goals.
