Dr. Erica Dommasch
Dr. Erica Dommasch is a board-certified dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology. Originally from New Jersey, she attended New York University for her undergraduate degree, where she was a Presidential Honors Scholar, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and later graduated summa cum laude in 2005. While in college, she worked part-time as a medical assistant at a dermatology practice in New York, where she first developed her interest in dermatology. She then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. While in medical school, she was awarded a predoctoral National Research Service Award Institutional Training Grant to conduct clinical research in psoriasis at the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation from medical school in 2010, Dr. Dommasch completed her internship at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, and her dermatology residency at Boston University.
From 2014 to 2024, Dr. Dommasch was faculty at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Fenway Health in Boston, MA, and also served as an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. In 2018, she graduated from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness. For nearly a decade, Dr. Dommasch was routinely involved in the education of dermatology residents and medical students. She has authored over 30 publications and has been an invited speaker both nationally and internationally on the dermatological care of LGBTQ+ patients.
Dr. Dommasch treats patients of all ages and a wide range of skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis and skin cancer. She also performs cosmetic procedures including Botox, fillers, and laser treatments.
