What is Vivace?
As the newest generation of radiofrequency microneedling techniques, the Vivace® Microneedle RF treatment combines the collagen-boosting properties of microneedling with radiofrequency energy to tackle a variety of skin concerns.
The FDA-approved Vivace device uses 36 gold-tip needles and a robotic step motor to create precise micro-channels into the skin. The needles also deliver gentle heating from the radiofrequency energy to stimulate the body’s own healing response and natural collagen production.
This cosmetic treatment adds a nourishing treatment serum customized to your unique needs and goals. A cooling peptide mask finishes the treatment to give you the most natural, beautiful results possible.
The Vivace procedure requires little downtime and results, which improve over time, can be seen after a single treatment session. Depending on your desired results, you may benefit from a series of treatments. Vivace can also be used to treat hair loss.
What Does RF Microneedling do?
RF microneedling can help rejuvenate your skin, giving you a fresh, younger looking complexion. Microneedling creates channels deep into the dermal tissue, where it can stimulate the body’s natural healing process to improve skin at a cellular level. Collagen levels increase over time, creating smoother, more youthful skin.
The microneedles also facilitate delivery of the radiofrequency heating deep enough into the tissue to have maximum impact. The heat constricts tissue for tighter skin you can see right away. It also boosts collagen production for more dramatic improvement than microneedling devices alone. This process reduces the appearance of a wide range of skin concerns, while improving skin texture and tone.
Is RF Microneedling in NYC Better Than Traditional Microneedling?
RF microneedling takes traditional microneedling to the next level. Traditional microneedling focuses on the creation of micro-channels that stimulate the body’s natural healing response, as well as collagen and elastin production.
Some microneedling treatments use topical nutrients or growth factors, which are delivered deep into the dermal tissue via the tiny needles where they can have the greatest impact.
RF microneedling adds radiofrequency energy to the procedure to constrict tissue for faster results and stimulate even more collagen production. The RF energy, which converts to heat energy, is transferred deep into the dermal tissue through the micro-needles.
This procedure typically offers superior results to traditional microneedling with fewer treatment sessions and without increasing side effects or downtime.

Vivace RF Microneedling Questions and Answers
Q: How Long Does Vivace Take?
A:Â Each Vivace experience takes between 30-60 minutes to complete, depending on the number and size of your treatment areas. You will need to allow an additional 30 minutes at the beginning of the procedure for our topical numbing product to take effect.
Most patients find a Vivace treatment to be quite tolerable with little or no downtime after the treatment. We recommend avoiding strenuous activity for at least 48 hours to ensure side effects like redness and mild swelling subside quickly.
Q: Are There Any Side Effects After a Vivace Treatment?
A: Skin can be slightly red and swollen immediately following a Vivace treatment. Symptoms typically subside within a day or two. You can speed your recovery process by avoiding strenuous activities, sun exposure, and high temperatures from baths or saunas for 48-72 hours.
Q: How Long Do Vivace Results Last?
A:Â While you may see improvement soon after your Vivace treatment, those results will continue to increase over the next few months as collagen levels rise. Full results are usually seen within six months, although it might take longer if you have multiple treatment sessions.
Once your full results become evident, they may last 1-2 years. Duration will vary depending on the number of treatments that you receive and the condition of your skin when you first begin treatments. You can also prolong your improvements by protecting skin from the sun and using medical-grade skincare at home to support your skin health.
Q: What Does the Vivace Treatment Feel Like?
A: Most dermatologists use a topical numbing cream to make you feel comfortable. Patients report feeling light pressure with an occasional warming sensation. Other patients describe feeling minor prickling. It is a tolerable treatment that does not require downtime afterward.

Botox
Frowning, squinting, and smiling leave behind fine lines and wrinkles over time. Neuromodulators can be injected directly with a tiny needle into the muscles responsible and work by reducing crease-causing contractions.
Dermal Fillers
As we mature, loss of volume leads to wrinkles, prominent nasolabial folds, thinned lips, exaggerated jowls, and marionette lines. The natural deterioration of underlying bone and soft tissue leaves a hollowed, aged appearance. Fillers injected below the skin surface can correct age-related volume loss.
